Thanks to a bit of hard 'yakka' from students and staff, the space has undergone a 12 month transformation - and what better excuse to plant more trees than National Tree Day?
The school community dug in on Friday, putting a variety of trees and Aboriginal bush tucker plants into the ground ahead of Australia's largest community tree-planting event on Sunday.
Principal Kerri-Anne Hubble said it's all part of the school's weekly environmental program, teaching kids to connect with nature and improve their natural environment.
"In that program, students are learning to recognise plants, sow seeds, maintain gardens, weed, mulch, recycle and compost," she said.

The wide variety of bush tucker plants were sourced by Tamworth Regional Landcare Association, and were also used in student's cooking on the day.
"The kids cooked flatbread with garden greens using Aboriginal bush tucker plants from the local area," Ms Hubble said.
"Environmental education is not just learning about our natural environment, it goes into wellbeing as well.
"The kids enjoy it, it teaches them responsibility and by beautifying the school it does help with their wellbeing."
