A MAN has suffered fractures and possible spinal injuries after a car accident which occurred on Monday night.

The incident occurred at Spring Ridge, about 50km north-west of Quirindi, and saw the 19-year-old male taken to Tamworth hospital via the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
The helicopter critical care medical team attended the scene, which was a single car rollover, and stabilised the patient before transporting him.

He had also been treated by local NSW ambulance paramedics before the chopper crew arrived.
He was last reported to be in a stable condition after arriving at Tamworth hospital.
