A FRESH appeal for information has been launched as police continue to search for Nathan Markl, more than a week after he was reported missing from Narrabri.

The 31-year-old man was last seen on Goobar Street in Narrabri at about 10:30pm on July 7. He was reported to police as missing the next day.
Police said Mr Markl's unoccupied vehicle was found parked near a bridge off Maitland Street, which crosses Narrabri Creek.

Extensive searches of the riverbank, the creek and the Namoi River, with the assistance of police aircraft, have so far failed to uncover new information about Mr Markl's disappearance.
The 31-year-old lives with a medical condition and his family, as well as local police, have serious concerns for his welfare.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance and having dark hair. It's understood he is about 180-185cm tall and is of medium build.
It is unknown what he was wearing at the time he was last seen.
Oxley police are urgently asking anyone with information about where Mr Markl may be to contact local police or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
