North West got better as the carnival went on and just fell short in their final game of the competition.
They took on Sydney North in the playoff for 11th.
Both teams threw all they had at each other with Sydney North just edging out North West to win 12-10.

Meanwhile, North West also took part in a couple other carnivals last week.
Secondary girls touch football was held in Mudgee.
North West claimed one win from nine games with the margin in several of those losses being two tries or less.
PSSA girls football was played in Blacktown.
North West weren't able to claim a win but went close in a couple games.
