Obedience, agility and retrieval trials took place at the Oxley Dog Training Grounds, with some pooches displaying their incredible discipline, and others showing a flagrant disregard for their owner's commands.
The cold weather did little to deter the excited canines, although some owners were less than pleased to see them tracking straight through mud and puddles.
The trials take place across the state, and are for people who train their dogs as a sport and are seeking higher qualifications and ranks.
ODTC committee member Joy Lynch said all sorts of dogs took part in the event.

"They're not show dogs, they're all breed dogs which means they can be a cattle dog, a golden retriever, a dog that doesn't have a pedigree," she said.
Competitors came from far and wide, with Ms Lynch revealing people came in from the likes of Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra and Grafton.
It received a lot of attention from dog training enthusiasts, with the event being extremely well supported.
"We had quite a few, it was a big trial, bigger than what we would normally have because people came from all over the place," Ms Lynch said.
