Not even the rain could hold the public back, who managed to raise $5000 for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter on Saturday.
The Pub Group owner Craig Power said it was a fantastic turnout.
"It was really good, probably busier than we expected since we had hoped for a sunny, warm day but it was cool," he said.
"As the day went on there was a bit of sleet so we cut the races short by one but still had a few hundred people in with lots of families having a fun day out for the long weekend.

The money raised will help the Westpac Rescue Helicopter provide its life-saving service in Tamworth and the region.
