Almost 5000 athletes will head to Tamworth for the National Primary Games, bringing with them an expected $1.6 million in economic benefits for the town. There will be chance for locals to get out there cheering, with a heap of events at the Sports Dome, Gipps Street fields and Riverside. Put it in the diary for July 10-11

Fiesta Fusion

The tastes of the world will be on offer at Fiesta Fusion, which celebrates Tamworth's diverse cultural melting-pot. The day will feature food stalls, activities and workshops, which will take over Bicentennial Park for a fun lunch. Fiesta Fusion is a one-off variation of Fiesta La Peel in October.
