A cafe, tavern, thermal pools and caravan park in Moree are among the venues visited by the case, who NSW Health said drove from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland between June 1 and June 5.

Gwydir Caravan Park, Cafe Omega and the Amaroo Tavern in Moree are among the sites the positive case visited on the roadtrip.

Anyone who was at those venues at the times specified must get tested immediately and isolate.

NSW Health issued urgent health alerts for Moree, Dubbo, Forbes and Gillenbah after it was alerted to the case by Queensland Health on Wednesday.

Anyone who attended the following venues in Moree at the times listed must immediately get tested and isolate until further information from NSW Health:

Gwydir Thermal Pools Motel & Caravan Park at 4 Amaroo Drive

Cafe Omega at 145 Balo Street

Amaroo Tavern at Amaroo Drive

NSW Health said it is continuing to investigate the movements of the case in regional NeSW, and the list of venues and times will be updated.

Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall said more testing was being made available for locals.

"It is incredibly important that the people of Moree seek testing for COVID-19 at the onset of even the mildest of cold-like symptoms," Mr Marshall said.

"The existing clinic at Moree Hospital will be open tomorrow [Thursday] from 8.15am to 6pm and Laverty Pathology will also have a pop-up drive-through clinic established in the Tourism Moree carpark.

"In response to this potential exposure, the health district is also working to increase its capacity for testing.

"Residents should monitor the NSW Government's website and social media for updates on testing clinics and COVID-19 case locations.

"COVID-19 symptoms include, fever (37.5 ° or higher), cough, sore throat, shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), runny nose, loss of taste and loss of smell.

"Everyone must immediately come forward for testing if any of these symptoms appear, then isolate until a negative result is received."

NSW Health is continuing to investigate the movements of this case in rural and regional NSW, and this list of venues and times will be updated.
