When: June 12 from 9am @ Manilla Showground. Two-day (Saturday and Sunday) display of vintage machinery. Tractors, vehicles, stationary engines, tools and gadgets. Street parade Saturday morning, on-site demonstrations. Talk to the owners, learn about these fascinating one machines. The annual rally features Lanz Bulldog Tractors on June 12 and 13 at the Manilla Showground. Cost: $5 entry, $2 kids. Under 5 years free.
'Kurrumbede' - Open Day

Hundreds of history and poetry enthusiasts will take advantage of a rare opportunity to explore the grounds of the Kurrumbede homestead near Gunnedah when it opens its doors to the public on Saturday. The open day runs from 10am to 3pm at the Kurrumbede homestead on 1693 Blue Vale Road, Blue Vale. Courtesy buses will commence running at 10am from the Mackellar Centre, Gunnedah, and must be booked in advance, but visitors can also travel in their own private vehicle.
Winter garden weekend in the Highlands

GLENRAC are hosting a free winter garden weekend with guest presenter Meredith Kirton. Two gardens directly impacted by the recent bushfires will be on display over the weekend: 'Rosedale' and 'Whinstanes'. Baseball carnival

The Tamworth Baseball Association will host its annual carnival over the June long weekend. For over 50 years teams from across NSW and Queensland have descended on the city, although last year COVID caused its cancellation. June 12 to 14. Tamworth Field of Dreams, Carter Street. City of Tamworth Eisteddfod

The City of Tamworth Eisteddfod has now been in operation for 70 years, attracting competitors in the following areas: Dance - Wednesday 9th to Monday 14th June held at Tamworth Town Hall Music - Tuesday 15th June - Monday 21st June held at both the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music, Community Centre & Tamworth Town Hall. Speech and Drama - Monday 22 - Thursday 24th June held at the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music. Mature performers - Saturday 26th June held in the afternoon at The Heritage Room Tamworth Community Centre. Tickets are available at the door. Competitors and accompanists are admitted free of charge only to sessions in which they are competing.
