Snow is expected to blanket the town of Walcha on Thursday, and Moons Bakery manager Barbara Jamieson said she hoped the tourists would blow in too.
"It looks really beautiful, the town looks beautiful when it snows and it's really lovely," she told the Leader.
"It's definitely good for business, as far as I'm concerned, with the colder weather."

The wintry forecast is welcome for the mountain-top town after months of missing out on the regular tourist traffic while the Oxley Highway, which links the region to the coast, has been cut off.
"Businesses certainly do suffer with the road closed," she said.
While residents are used to rugging up, Ms Jamieson said freezing temperatures tend to keep the locals indoors, so she hoped people would travel up the inland route to see the snow.
"It certainly does make a difference, probably not as much as if it snowed on a weekend though," she said.
She said snow days can bring families, as well as day-trippers, wanting to witness the white winter wonderland to Walcha.
Ms Jamieson said polar blast or not, she would normally pop extra pies in the oven on cooler days, and said she certainly would be doing that on Thursday when the snow is expected to fall.
"We even sell more bread ... people are at home making toasted sandwiches and stews," she said.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) forecast shows snow could fall at Armidale, Guyra, Walcha, Hanging Rock near Nundle and anywhere else above 800m when icy weather blows in on Wednesday and Thursday.
Authorities have warned snow-goers to be careful.
