In her first time swimming at the championships, the Calrossy Year 9 student produced yet another personal best swim to finish second in the 50m breaststroke.
From the start of the season to the All Schools she has slashed around two-and-half seconds off her time in the event, which is probably her least favourite, preferring the longer distances.

Simm had qualified for the meet by winning silver at the Combined Independent Schools carnival and was really happy with her performance.
"To medal for my first time competing was really good, and to swim a pb was really good too," she said.
That was a bit the theme of the summer for the 14-year old.
At the nationals back in April, Simm bettered her personal best and made it through to the final in all four events she contested.
As she now turns her attention towards the winter season, she reflected that she couldn't have imagined the summer she had.
"Especially coming back from COVID I was stoked with my season," she said.
It will be a bit of a quieter winter than usual as she manages a groin injury that had been niggling her before the nationals but flared up there.
She is focusing on the bigger short course carnivals, the first of which will be the Country Championships at the end of the month.
The state championships are the next on the horizon after that.
