There's still no sign of Alexander Schlack, a fortnight on from the last confirmed sighting of him on CCTV in a store in the city's CBD.
On Monday, Oxley Detective Inspector Jason Darcy confirmed police are looking at whether Mr Schlack has access to transport, and whether there's been any use of his bank accounts or phone - a standard procedure in missing persons investigations.
"Police are continuing to try and track down the last movements of Mr Schlack on May 24," he said.

"We are continuing investigations into the possible whereabouts of Mr Schlack and we again make an appeal for anyone that recognises him to contact police."
The 48-year-old is from Narrabri but was in Tamworth on the day he disappeared.
On Thursday night, tens of thousands of people across Tamworth received a text message from NSW Police that police were searching for Mr Schlack.
It was the first time Oxley police have used the geo-alert technology.
As a result of the geo-alert that was sent, police uncovered evidence on Friday that Mr Schlack was in a retail store in Peel Street about 5.10pm on the day he went missing.
At the time he was wearing black jeans and a bone or mushroom-coloured long-sleeved shirt, and was carrying two brown paper shopping bags.
Earlier that day, he was also seen at 4.20pm on the corner of Peel and Bourke Street. Police have confirmed CCTV captured him walking at that time carrying a brown jacket.
Police have been told he was also at Tamworth hospital until about 3.40pm, but when he failed to contact family, police were alerted.
Anyone with information on Mr Schlack's whereabouts, or who might have seen him in the past two weeks, is urged to contact Oxley police on 6792 7199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
