Samual Steven Tapau spent the night behind bars on Tuesday after police executed a search warrant at a Warral Road home.
Police moved in just before 6pm and searched the house as part of a drug supply investigation, and are now in the process of forensically examining the items they seized.
Officers searching the home allegedly found cannabis, cash, scales and other drug-related items inside.
The 50-year-old man was arrested at the house on Tuesday evening and taken to Tamworth Police Station for questioning.
