Lawyers for Tyson James Booby, 22, and co-accused Joshua Ty Tehoata, 28, made no applications for bail during a mention in Tamworth Local Court on Monday.
Booby copped an extra charge on Monday morning for causing the police pursuit through Tamworth, and driving recklessly in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to court documents, Tehoata is charged with firing a .22 calibre rifle at an unmarked police car with the intent to resist or prevent his arrest.
Tehoata appeared via video link when his case was called, and Legal Aid solicitor Patricia Simpson did not apply for bail but asked the court for a "specific" health review while Tehoata was in custody.

Magistrate Julie Soars ordered the review, and told lawyers a brief of evidence needed to be served on the pair, before the cases return to court in July.
Aboriginal Legal Service lawyer Joseph Healy said Booby was not required on the screen.
"Your Honour it's a strictly indictable offence so there is no application for bail today," he told the court.
Among the charges, the men are accused of possessing a knife in a public place; possessing a prohibited weapon; and each faces three counts of possessing a shortened firearm that is not a pistol that were found in the car.

Booby also faces charges that he breached a firearms prohibition order by possessing guns and ammunition; while Tehoata is accused of holding ammunition when he was arrested.
The police case is that a dangerous pursuit was sparked after officers spotted a Ford Territory leaving McDonalds in East Tamworth about 2.45am on Saturday.
After the car turned onto the New England Highway, officers signalled for the Ford to pull over.
When it failed to stop, police allege a chase was sparked, and it continued through Nemingha, Kootingal, Calala and Tamworth.
Police will allege the passenger lent out the window and pointed a gun at police, firing several shots.
A number of bullet holes were later discovered in the bonnet and bumper of the unmarked silver Hyundai police car.
Extra back-up was called and road spikes were deployed after the vehicle passed on Duri Road about 3.30am.
The Ford eventually lost control and crashed through the fence of the Tamworth Golf Course. Two occupants fled but were captured on the golf course.
