The 21-year-old had warrants out for his arrest after he disappeared in the city earlier this month. He had only been on bail for a matter of weeks.
Prince was captured by Tamworth police on Friday and has been in custody since.
He appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Tuesday for a bail hearing, but magistrate Julie Soars refused to release him.

Ms Soars had issued arrest warrants for Prince early last week, and on Tuesday, she denied bail and ordered him into custody where he will remain until his cases return to court later this month, and in June.
He's facing charges of police pursuit; break-and-enter in Denison Street earlier this month; stealing a Holden Colorado; assaulting police; resisting arrest; and custody of a knife.
Prince is also accused of having a knife in public; possessing a prohibited weapon; and goods in custody from an arrest on Scott Road in late-March.
Prince is yet to formally enter pleas to the allegations.
Early last week, Oxley police applied to the court for an arrest warrant in a bid to track down Prince.
They issued an urgent appeal to find him, claiming there had been reports he had been evading authorities in Coledale, but he was not charged with any new offence during his arrest.
