A CAR CRASH blocked part of a busy Tamworth intersection on Monday morning, but the people involved had a lucky escape from serious injury.

Ambulance NSW paramedics responded to reports of a van rollover at a roundabout at the intersection of Willow Street and Robert Street just after 9am.
Two crews rushed to the scene, along with police and Fire and Rescue NSW teams.
A spokesman from Ambulance NSW confirmed multiple patients were involved in the two-car crash and assessed at the scene.

One elderly man, believed to be aged in his 80s, was treated by paramedics at the scene for a suspected elbow injury.
No one suffered serious injuries and none of the patients were transported to hospital for treatment.
A witness at the scene told the Leader the crash appeared to be between a black ute and the yellow van, which ended up lying on its side on the road.
The intersection was blocked to traffic while emergency services assessed the patients and salvaged the car wrecks.
It is understood the crash site has now been cleared and there are no further delays.
