Leon Prince has warrants out for his arrest after he allegedly attacked a police officer who tried to arrest him last week in Coledale after a police chase in a suspected stolen car.
The 21-year-old has disappeared after earlier fronting Tamworth Local Court last week.
Police have been unable to find Prince, and now magistrate Julie Soars has issued arrest warrants in Tamworth Local Court for him.

He's facing charges of police pursuit; break-and-enter in Denison Street last week; stealing a Holden Colorado; assaulting police; resisting arrest; and custody of a knife.
Prince is also accused of having a knife in public; possessing a prohibited weapon; and goods in custody for an unrelated matter.
"Police have been searching for this 21-year-old male who we believe is being hidden by members of the West Tamworth community," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said.
"Finding him is a priority for police, and we have serious concerns for his welfare, and community safety.
"So I say to those people who know his whereabouts, please contact police so that we can find him.
"He has warrants for his arrest, and anyone found to be aiding him to evade authorities can face criminal charges themselves."
Anyone with information on Prince's whereabouts is urged not to approach him, but contact Tamworth police on 6768 2999.
