The sun was shining as the women played through the hottest part of the day - the thermometer peaked at 25 degrees at 12.30pm - at No. 1 Oval on Saturday as the Swans set the tone early.
The Swans shot out to a 16-point lead at the first break and never looked back.
They stretched that lead at half-time with the score reading 7.8 (50) to 0.0 (0).
The Kangaroos were able to break through with a pair of behinds in the third quarter before snagging a goal through captain Mackenzie Barton - who was also named her side's best - in the final term.
The final score read 11.12 (78) to 1.3 (9).

Bronte Chillingworth and Erin Allan kicked three goals each for the Swans.
In the other games the Gunnedah Bulldogs won 10.7 (67) to 2.4 (16) over the New England Nomads while Inverell beat Moree 21.17 (143) to 0.3 (3).
