Reid became inspired after watching an episode of Operation Ouch on ABC for Kids, and quickly got to work finding out whether Duri Public School (DPS) had any of the life-saving equipment.
After finding out that neither the school nor its two buses possessed one, he decided it was time to raise some money and make sure they did.
His efforts were quickly rewarded, with Raine and Horne Tamworth jumping on board to provide DPS with an automatic external defibrillator unit.
The early success pleased the year 2 student, but he said it's important not to stop until the job is done.
"[Our plan is to] do fundraisers and try and get more money from the raffle tickets."
