TWO stolen cars are still missing in Tamworth as police continue to piece together any links between a spike in break-ins across the city.

Tamworth has seen a rapid increase in break and enters in the past week, with several cars also stolen amid the offences on the weekend.
But overnight on Monday, one break-in was reported to police - a stark drop from recent days.
An investigation into that offence is ongoing, police said on Tuesday.
Operation Southbreak - the dedicated blitz to police property crime across Tamworth - is continuing to investigate the offences and potential links.

Several cars taken on the weekend have been recovered but one remains missing.
On Tuesday, officers were still searching for a white 2014 Nissan X-Trail wagon, bearing registration NSW plates BP-672. It was stolen from Wilga Place at Hillvue on April 24.
Last month, a white 2006 Toyota Camry sedan was taken during a break-and-enter on Garthowan Road at Attunga.
The sedan, bearing NSW plates YOG-966, was stolen on March 21 but still hasn't been found.
"Operation Southbreak is continuing to investigate the offences in Tamworth," Oxley Detective Active Inspector Jason Darcy said.
"We again urge the public to remain vigilant, secure their homes and vehicles and never leave personal valuables out or unsecured.
"We would urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicles, or who has seen them, to contact Tamworth police."
He urged anyone with information on suspicious activity, or the latest break-in offences to contact Operation Southbreak investigators o 6768 2999.
