With over $500,000 in prizemoney on offer, Friday's Tamworth Cup was the richest race meeting ever staged by the club.
Racegoers poured through the gates to soak up the atmosphere on and off the track.
Punters got to see eight races including the big one - the $200,000 Tamworth Cup.
The cup was won by the Jeff Englebrecht-trained High Court who held off one of Cody Morgan's runners, Wren's Day, and Petronius who is trained by Gary Moore.
Craig Williams also made an appearance in the Tamworth Cup on the Paul Messara-trained Total Recall who finished fifth.
