A development application has been lodged on behalf of JT Fossey, which owns the existing covered lot on the corner of Kable Avenue and Hill Street.
The proposed $325,000 development would see the One of a Kind building refurbished with new signage, a kitchen, office space and a MG Motors showroom.
The works would be undertaken in one stage as the lot is already cleared for commercial development and one side already operates as a car sales yard.

If approved by Tamworth Regional Council (TRC), the showroom would operate from 8am to 5pm on weekdays and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays.
It would be run by three full-time and administrative staff.
The application was lodged last week.
