MORE than 150 people attended the Nundle Picnic on Sunday afternoon in what is being described as a "huge success" by organisers.

Saturday's poor weather cleared just in time as people from all around the region flocked to the annual event.
A range of local produce was on offer for visitors to buy, eat and drink as they sat down and listed to live entertainment.

Event manager for Nundle Events and Groups, Teree Burr, was thrilled with how the day panned out.
"It was a huge success, we sold out and it was a beautiful day in Nundle despite the bad weather yesterday," she said.
"The food was delicious and the whole paddock to plate concept was well received.
"The guests could see where the produce in their picnic box came from."
