And it was a continuation of the dream run Crowhurst has had since moving to Tamworth for work in November 2019.
In short, his life has never been better.

Crowhurst was married at the pristine Little Bay. The sun-drenched nuptials segued into ideal overcast conditions for the first snaps of the newlyweds.
With his beautiful Tamworthian bride by his side, and their first child growing inside her, Crowhurst was in the midst of the life-affirming "whirlwind" his world has become over the past two-plus years.
"It was the perfect day," he said of the wedding, which was attended by some 50 family and friends.
It would probably be an exaggeration to describe the 24-year-old's life as perfect since relocating to Tamworth from Port Macquarie, but it has certainly been charmed.
As his love life heated up, so did his career at 92.9FM and his stint at the Tamworth Swans.
He is now 92.9's announcer for the 1-5pm shift (Monday to Friday), and the Swans' reigning joint best and fairest player.
"I wasn't too sure of myself when first moving to Tamworth," he said. "But it's all definitely worked out for the better."
He continued: "It's been a whirlwind. Because when I originally moved here, I was expecting it to be a 12 to 18-month period - just get a foot in the door for my career and then move on to a larger market.
"But I've made some of my closest mates here in the footy club - the best footy club I've ever been a part of ... [and] meeting my wife; it's just been the best two years of my life."
At a Tamworth service station last Saturday, the Crowhursts picked up some supplies before heading to Narrabri for the annual Crossroads Cup preseason carnival.
The newlyweds were still aglow.
They first met at the inaugural AFL Nines in late 2019. Crowhurst had just arrived in town, and his future wife managed the team he was assigned to.
They soon started dating.
Meg - who has a seven-year-old daughter, Indiana-Rose, from a previous relationship - played for the Swans the past two years, but will miss this season due to the pregnancy.
Her man booted 12 goals in his second match for the Swans, in 2020, and booted 55 for the season - second best in the competition - as the Swans made their first grand final since 2009.
The Swans beat Narrabri in the Crossroads Cup final on Saturday, with Crowhurst named player of the carnival.
In the opening round of the season on Saturday, the Swans confront the Saints at No 1 Oval.
"I'd love to have another season like I did [last year]," Crowhurst said. "It was definitely my best season of footy I've ever played."
