The country music capital themed game opportunity will be discussed in closed council tonight; and the Leader will be here live from 6:30pm to bring the public democracy as it happens.
"Outrageous" raw water charges proposed by Water NSW and under review by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) are on the agenda as the council discusses making a scathing submission to the pricing watchdog.
The council is also in talks about underwriting a life-sized statue of Australian country music legend John Williamson in the hopes it can be funded and revealed in time for the 50th Tamworth Country Music Festival.
