A TEENAGER has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning, police have confirmed.
About 2.45am, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were travelling on Baradine Road, Coonabarabran, when they found the wreckage.
Police said the Holden Commodore utility had left the road and crashed into a tree.
The Holden driver and sole occupant, a man, believed to be aged 19, died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified, police said.
Officers established a crime scene and started inquiries in the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
The state's road toll was at 78 people at midnight on April 8.
