The 60-year-old suffered serious injuries to his legs and was assessed and treated by emergency services and local ambulance paramedics.
He was taken from a rural property via ambulance to Ashford Hospital, where he was met by the rescue service and helicopter critical care team.

They continued his treatment, and then flew him to directly to the Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
Upon arrival, he was deemed to be in a stable condition.
