THE body of a woman that has been missing for almost a month is believed to have been found at a rural property in Barrington.

Manning Great Lakes police were contacted at around 5:15pm yesterday after the body was located on a riverbank by the property owner on Barrington West Road.
It is yet to be formally identified but police believe it belongs to Port Macquarie woman Adele Morrison, who was last seen on March 16.

The 78-year-old left in her vehicle for Gloucester but her family soon became concerned for her welfare.
She was then reported missing to Mid North Coast police the following day.
It was discovered she had attended a shopping centre at Gloucester about 10.45am on March 16.
Later in March police found her vacant car on Barrington East Road partially submerged in floodwater.
Searches were conducted to find her, but they were unsuccessful.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
