Youth Week is right around the corner, and Tamworth Regional Council and Tamworth Youth Council have pulled out all the stops to celebrate this year's theme 'Together More Than Ever'.
This year, Youth Week runs between April 16-24, and each Friday and Saturday night in these two weeks The Youthie will be hosting free events.
First up is the launch party from 6pm on Friday, April 16, which will see DJ CONz setting the party mood, then there'll be a sports day at the Sports Dome on Saturday, April 17.
Here, sports activities and games, stalls and a free barbecue are planned between 11am-3pm.

Tamworth Regional Council senior youth services assistant, Sewa Emojong, said it should be a really fun week.
"It's really important to give young people safe spaces to be able to hang out and have opportunities to meet new people and do lots of positive things within the community," she said.
"This is kind of our way to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to participate in something positive and fun."
On Friday, April 23 from 6pm-8pm, bands 'Handled Scandal' and 'Liquid Zoo' (who featured on Triple-J Unearthed) will provide the entertainment.
Youth Week will then come to a close at a barbecue night on Saturday, April 24.
There'll also be a free shuttle bus running every night.
Bookings for each event must be made for COVID purposes. These can be made for the events and the shuttle bus on the TRC website.
