A BMX Bash and a sport-filled day at the Tamworth Sports Dome were just two of the many school holiday activities going on in Tamworth on Thursday.
Local kids took to the Tamworth Viaduct Skate Park armed with helmets, bikes and scooters for a day of showing off their skills.
The BMX Bash event is running over three days from Thursday to Sunday, and is run by the Scripture Union of NSW. Participants followed the tutelage of coach Nathan 'Lanky' Philips.
Meanwhile, at the Tamworth Sports Dome, youth spent the entire day trying out different sports like basketball, futsal, pickeball, and much more.
When the Leader arrived, they were taking on a game of basketball, and kids of all ages tried their hardest to shoot a hoop.
