The Leader questioned both Hunter New England Health (HNEH), which is responsible for running the clinic, and NSW Health, which is in charge of the state's vaccination statistics and roll out to health workers.
A spokeswoman for HNEH confirmed the authority would not release information about how many healthcare workers had chosen to get the jab in Tamworth.
A spokeswoman for NSW Health said the organisation releases state-wide figures daily.

The Tamworth hospital vaccination clinic for Phase 1a healthcare workers in the public system opened on Tuesday, last week.
It's stocked with vials of the AstraZeneca vaccine, and the 'satellite site' will also immunise frontline healthcare staff in smaller towns outside Tamworth.
It is understood there is no date set for when doctors, nurses and other hospital staff in towns like Gunnedah will get the chance to be vaccinated, even though the federal government's Phase 1b rollout at Gunnedah GP clinics has already started.
The Tamworth 1b program through private practice started two weeks ago.
