Last year Virbac Australia partnered with NSW DPI and LLS to study the response to drenches over 63 days in approximately 200 steers sourced from multiple locations and naturally infected with Haemonchus spp, Cooperia spp and Ostertagia spp.
First stop in the roadshow is Tamworth on April 12 at The Calala Pub from 11.30am, before Coonabarabran's Acacia Motor Inn that day from 6pm.
The roadshows mission is to highlight the significant cost of using ineffective drenches on herd performance as confirmed by new research.

Livestock parasitologist Dr Tim Elliot and Virbac's senior livestock technical services manager Dr Matthew Ball will go through the findings at various locations next week.
Internal parasite infestation is one of the most significant diseases faced by cattle producers in Australia.
Single active pour-on drenches are no longer reliably effective either in efficacy and/or productivity.
Dr Matt Ball said the roadshow was "a great opportunity for cattle producers and veterinarians to improve their knowledge on how to increase farm productivity using best practice parasite control and product usage".
The series will continue throughout regional NSW at key locations including Cassilis, Molong, Cowra, Goulburn, Yass, Tumut and Corryong.
