For the first time in a long time, the park was at capacity over the Easter long weekend as almost 4000 people made their way through the gates.
All accommodation, including the primitive camp sites, were booked out on Friday and Saturday nights.
The rush was extremely rewarding to see for staff, with park manager Leith Smith revealing it had been a tough few years.
"There was a lot of hard work and a lot of down time for everybody through Australia over the last few years, a lot of hard work behind the scenes to keep the place operational through those times," he said.
"There was a lot of back up from locals and the company as a whole so it's good to see it finally coming to fruition - it's quite relieving actually."

Keepit Dam is sitting at more than 60 per cent capacity after a year of significant rainfall, which is a major contributor to the increase in numbers.
However, Mr Smith believes a number of factors were at play over the Easter break.
"It was a perfect storm I think, we've actually got some water back in the dam - we're up to 63 per cent now, there's perfect weather and the COVID-19 [restrictions] relief of people being able to travel but not being able to go too far either," he said.
