Macarthur beat Country North 16-12 in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
It was the carnival's debut showing in Tamworth, after previously being staged in Port Macquarie.
Rod Sheraton, of the organising committee, said: "As a committee, we were very happy with the way the event went.
"The facilities were fantastic, the weather was spot-on, we really enjoyed the town, and the guys loved playing football in Tamworth."
Sheraton said there was "probably a good chance" the event would be staged in the Country Music capital again.
"All the clubs indicated that they were happy with the week," he said.
Some 300 players and support staff were joined in Tamworth by dozens of supporters - the influx of visitors a boon for the local economy.
Sheraton said the competition was "hard but fair".
"And there was some really good football played, and we were able to pick two quality representative teams to play in the City-Country game later in May [at Mudgee]."
Two Country North players - Sean Tilley and Jack Durheim - made the Country side.
