Firefighters had a busy Saturday morning after reports of three car fires in the West Tamworth area rolled in back to back from 6am.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews from the South Tamworth station rushed to respond to the blazes, acting station manager Robert Gander told the Leader.

He said two of the car fires broke out in a paddock at the old brickworks site, and the third car was found on fire "in the same vicinity", on a street nearby.
Mr Gander said the station's four-wheel-drive firefighting unit had to be deployed to respond to the two blazes in the paddock.
"We used our tanker to get access, with all the rain it made access difficult," he said.
Firefighters managed to quickly douse the flames during the morning, but it is understood all three vehicles were destroyed.
Mr Gander said police attended the scenes, and investigations are continuing.
