The honky tonk bar has just opened in Fitzroy Plaza's developing eat-street and aims to provide a quality dining experience with a premium burger offering.
And, the business is pushing into the vegan and vegetarian market, Burger Urge new business development manager Adam Gardiner said.
"We still have standard Burger Urge stores but this is slightly different," he said.
"As a company we are looking regionally and we've always had our eye on Tamworth.

"I'm talking to the manager and owner of the pub next door and we'd like to see this become more of an eat-street style set up to attract more people down to this end of the town."
The restaurant opened this week and at least 30 locals have been employed to serve up the burgs.

It's teamed up with grocer Farmer Bob's to ensure quality, local produce is used, Mr Gardiner said.
"We have a national supplier, but I like to make sure we have that quality offering as well, so here we decided to go with Farmer Bob's because it suits what we're doing," he said.
"I think Tamworth has been on the radar for a good 12 months now, maybe even longer.
"We try to lead with dine-in because that's the experience we're going for and we've put a lot of effort into the fit out itself."
