The senior constable has been charged with drug and firearm offences after an investigation spanning a matter of weeks.
The Professional Standards Command - the squad of officers who investigates NSW Police officers - launched an investigation in February after a tip-off about the possession of restricted substances.
Investigations led the squad to the senior constable's home on February 17, where it was raided.

A NSW Police spokesperson said officers also uncovered breaches relating to the securing and disposal of registered guns.
After two weeks of investigations, the internal squad issued the senior constable on Thursday with a notice to front court on a string of charges.
The senior constable is facing two allegations of possessing a prescribed restricted substance; not keeping a firearm safely; and three counts of failing to notify the NSW Police Commissioner of the particulars of a disposal of a firearm.
The policeman, who is based in the Western Region, has been ordered to appear in Narrabri Local Court in late April.
The police spokesperson could not confirm if the officer was still working, but said his "duty status is currently under review".
