Just before 3am on Sunday, officers were called to Peel Street after reports of a huge brawl in the street.
As police arrived, officers claim an 18-year-old man assaulted another man.
Police intervened and deployed a taser to arrest the teenager.

He was taken to Walgett Police Station where he was charged with affray, and custody of knife in public place.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Walgett Local Court on March 23.
Investigations are continuing.
