Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson said the funding was welcome news after the recent storms.
"The PCYC courthouse building is ageing and needs some work," Mr Anderson said.
"The huge storm that ripped through last week only showed us how necessary this funding is. The leaking roof meant the room is no longer usable and that is a huge loss for Tamworth PCYC.
PCYC Sector Manager for Tamworth, Armidale, Gunnedah and Moree Debby Herdegen said the loss of the hall would mean a reduced capacity to host events.
"With this hall out of action, our capacity is reduced to around 75 per cent," Mrs Herdegen said.
"The water leaked through the light fittings in the roof and our electrician told us we needed to cut the power.
"This funding means we can get someone in the fix the gutters, flashing and roof of the Court House Building so it doesn't leak anymore."

The funding comes from the most recent round of the Crown Reserves Improvement Fund.
"The Crown Reserves Improvement Fund brings important money into the electorate to improve facilities at shared community sites," Mr Anderson said.
"These sites are essential for the well-being of communities and our environment, and to support recreation, tourism, business, and the local economy.
"The funding for Tamworth PCYC is a great example of the State Government stepping in to help a vital community asset."
