The Think Local, Shop Local campaign has launched and it's small businesses that will reap the rewards.
It's the second time that Glamour Empire director Susie Slack-Smith has taken part in the competition, and hopes it will bring an increase in sales after an incredibly tough year.
"Honestly we're so happy about that, because it was a very scary time for us, we were calling the staff and saying, 'we don't know if you guys have jobs'," she said.
"We've never been through a pandemic before, so to be open again, to be absolutely thriving and to have campaigns like this certainly makes you feel a lot better as a small business.
"So being able to take part in something like this at this exact time is the most perfect timing for us in retail, especially in a regional town."
The Tamworth Business Chamber campaign was called off last year, but in 2019 it generated $1.5 million in revenue through 9000 entries across 82 retailers.
It asks shoppers to spend $30 or more at participating businesses, and tune into 88.9FM every Wednesday about midday.
Each week a key winner will be announced, but the public have just four hours on the clock to call the station and claim it.
The hope is to draw people out of their homes and into local shops, chamber president Stephanie Cameron said.
"We all calling on a locals to support local businesses to strengthen our economy and community," she said.

A QR code will be used instead of paper forms this year, which is hoped to give better data to the chamber as well.
The campaign has the support of Tamworth Regional Council mayor Col Murray, who wants to see shoppers move away from big brand names to support small business.
"Every dollar spent in our local community helps with a job, helps keep a business open - I impress on everyone to think about this and how important it really is," he said.
The promotion ends in 10 weeks, where each of the weekly key winners will be invited to see if their key opens the door to the Skoda Fabia.
