The first is construction and use of a five megawatt solar PV electricity generation plant with associated infrastructure on Country Road in Warral, worth an estimated $7 million.
The plans have been put forward by Providence and would make the third farm the company has plans for in the region, including the recently approved farm in Manilla.
Public submissions close on March 3.
The second is a five megawatt solar farm planned for Kootingal.
Developer's ITP has been granted approval for another solar farm near Armidale, and this would make the second project in the New England North West.
It is expected to cost roughly six-and-a-half million dollars to build, and would be located about 1km west of the Kootingal township.
