Tiger selectors have made a couple of changes to the side.
"We've moved Jacob Cordina to the wing and Brady Roser to lock," coach Brett Jarrett said.
"Deacon Hampstead has come into the squad and onto the bench. He's a back-rower from Singleton."
Jarrett hopes the changes can help the side notch their first win after losing to the North Coast Bulldogs (28-12) and Central Coast Roosters (20-nil) in the opening two rounds.
"They (the Titans) are winless too," Jarrett said. "But they are all tough games (in this competition). We don't how good they (the Titans) are as well. We'll find out Saturday."
He said his side has plenty to work on after last Saturday's loss.
"The conditions didn't help us," he said of the rainy day.
"We made some unfortunate errors that killed us, and had some lapses in defence as well. But we aren't far away from putting together a good performance."
While both the Tigers and Titans sit ninth and 10th on the 10-team Andrew Johns Cup ladder, the Tigers have played two of the top four sides, the Bulldogs and the Roosters, who are unbeaten alongside the Monaro Colts and the Illawarra South Coast Dragons.
The Greater Northern Tigers under-18s sit sixth on the Laurie Daley Cup ladder, two spots below the Northern Rivers Titans. The sides are equal on points but the Tigers have an inferior for-and-against percentage.
The Darryl Rando-coached side is coming off a last-round loss to the unbeaten Central Coast Roosters.
"We've made a couple of changes," Rando said.
He has named in the side two new wingers with "bigger bodies".
They are Guyra's Billy Youman and Moree's Alex Lawrence.
Werris Creek's Charlie Parsons has been named in the front-row.
Parsons is the son of former Newcastle Knights and NSW Blues prop Matt Parsons.
"Charlie had a groin injury and missed the first round," Rando said. "I hope he takes the chance with both hands."
"We just need to improve our ball control and kicking game," Rando added.
