The club is holding a come and try day at Riverside 5 which is open to everyone.
"It's for men and women. Hopefully a few will try it out and get a bit of AFL in," Kangaroos president Brett Douglas said.
The Kangaroos had some of their best numbers at training last week for the men's side and Douglas said they were "heading in the right direction".

"We had about 19-20 blokes the other day," Douglas said.
"We're building as they are switching on as we get closer to footy season."
The women's side, who Douglas is coaching, was a little slower but he said they were getting there after sitting out the 2020 season.
"We're gradually building. We had the year off so we have to rebuild," Douglas said.
Douglas was hoping to see new faces on Saturday as the season approaches.
The come and try day will kick off at 10.30am and wrap up by 12.30pm.
The Kangaroos will then head back to the beer garden at the Tamworth Hotel at 1pm.
