Swimming at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is a big occasion for country swimmers and one Abbey Trewern always looks forward to.

The 13-year-old has had the chance to swim at the Olympic pool a handful of times and will be back there this weekend.
Trewern is one of five 360 Scully Park swimmers to make the trek to Sydney for the 2021 NSW Country Championships.

The swimmer loves the atmosphere that goes with racing on the big stage.
"I'm excited to swim down there, it's always fun swimming in Sydney," Trewern told The Leader.
"There's always lots of people there. It's a lot bigger of pool and everyone's watching."
Trewern will compete in four events at the championships which include two - the 13-14 girls 200 medley and 200 free - relays.
Alongside Trewern in the relays will be Chloe Mulligan, Bella Pollard and Allison Tooley.
As well as regular training, the quartet had been practising their timing for changeovers in the lead-up to events.
"We train together all the time, most days we're together and, I suppose, we've all got our strokes we like to swim and we're all doing it as a team," she said.
Chelsea Smith, 11, rounds out the 360 team and will compete in five events.
The girls have been hard at training and not just because of the upcoming Country Championships.
A number of swimmers at the 360 Scully Park club signed up for the Starlight Super Swim.
The group have already smashed their fundraising target of $1500 but now want to raise more and have shown that by putting in big efforts in the pool.
"I think since the 28th of January, I've swam 68 kilometres so far," Trewern said on Wednesday.
Trewern has swam "pretty much every day" but has tapered off in the lead up to the weekend.
They 2021 NSW Country Championships start Friday and run until Sunday.
