Interactive show 'Find the Switch' will run in Tamworth on Friday and Saturday night.
The event's publicity manager Ryan Rhys described it as a scavenger hunt underpinned by a storyline, with elements of an 'escape room' and interactive theatre.
People who register for the 'Find the Switch' event gather in a secret location, and have to travel all over Tamworth to put together clues and ultimately, find and flip the switch.

"There is a big feel of mystery and an ominous nature to it all," Mr Rhys said.
A post on social media warns participants that they have been "selected to help with a secret government-funded experiment, in preparation for dark times ahead for the human race".
The show is touring Australia, and is coming to Tamworth for only the second time at the weekend.
"It is a competition, but it is also a game of wit and intelligence so being the fastest isn't always going to get you the points," Mr Rhys said.
He said the reaction from locals had been impressive.
The production was put on hold for a short time during COVID-19, but Mr Rhys said the show was back on and the company tried to employ local theatre and drama buffs as 'moderators' in the game.
"Most of our events are outdoors so it's easy to maintain the distance ... there are extra precautions we drill into participants," he said.
Information on who can play and how to get involved is on the 'Find the Switch' website.
