Jodie Tobin is planning to open a service at her home next month - called Jumbuck Corner - through Tamworth Family Daycare.
She said just one advertisement on social media had caused her to be inundated with parents seeking a spot for their little ones.
"I was overwhelmed with the amount of people out there needing care," she told the Leader.
"I had to take my advert down because I was just flooded with people looking for alternative care."

Ms Tobin will be working alone and can only look after four kids - all below primary school age - at a time. But, she said she'd been fielding at least a few enquiries every day for the past couple of weeks.
"Childcare centres, there are a lot out there, but I don't think there are enough, and that's why I decided to do this," she said.
"Say someone has two children under the age of five, they can't necessarily get them both into the same centre at the same time, so I think that's an issue.
"The feedback that I was getting from some of the mothers is they cannot find care for the little ones."
Ms Tobin said she had seen people needing to "centre-hop" around Tamworth to make sure their children were cared for.
"It's now a matter of going through my list and juggling and see what I can fit in ... unfortunately I am going to have to turn away a lot of people," she said.
Ms Tobin was working as a student learning support officer in a high school, before turning back to teaching toddlers instead of teenagers.
"I'm really looking forward to just sitting down and ... having some fun and doing some painting and running around the backyard," she said.
