Police from Tamworth, Gunnedah and Sydney surrounded the Hopedale Avenue home in Gunnedah about 10.30am, before the specialist squad of police moved in.
During a search of the home, officers seized bags of evidence.
"Police seized a number of items, these items are believed to be prohibited drugs and ammunition," Inspector Michael Wurth told the Leader.

"Those items will now be the subject of forensic examination.
"The operation involved local police from Gunnedah and Tamworth, along with specialist police from Sydney who assisted with the search warrant and gaining entry to the house."
No one was arrested during the raid, and no charges have been laid but police said "investigations are continuing".
The raid was triggered after a community tip-off to police.
"The search warrant was the result of information received from the public that police acted upon," Inspector Wurth said.
WARNING AFTER MORE BREAK AND ENTERS
Meanwhile, police are continuing to piece together a string of break and enters from the weekend, as they call for public help.
Inspector Wurth said "a number of break and enters and stolen vehicles" were reported across the Oxley district on the weekend, in both Gunnedah and Tamworth.
Police have made two arrests in Tamworth, but Inspector Wurth said they were investigating if there were any links between the offences in the two towns.
"That is under investigation," he said.
"We would appeal for residents with CCTV or home security vision to review that, especially between 8pm Saturday and into the early hours of Sunday.
"These offences are occurring in residential areas, so anyone that notices suspicious activity is urged to report it immediately.
"Residents are urged to secure their valuables, ensure their homes are secured and personal items like keys and wallets are stored in inconspicuous areas in their homes.
"Anyone with information or who notices suspicious activity is urged to contact Oxley police in either Gunnedah or Tamworth."
