A sell-out crowd witnessed a night of extreme entertainment at AELEC on Saturday night as the the country's best bullriders went head to head with some of the fiercest bucking bulls.

Queensland's Aaron Kleier was crowned the Tamworth Xtreme Bulls champion with a total aggregate of 174 points.
After an 89 point ride in the long round the Clermont cowboy, who last month became the first rider in PBR history to win three consecutive national titles, was the only to last the eight seconds and register a score in the short round.

The night also featured mini and junior bulls, saddlebronc and bareback and saw a couple of local cowboys pick wins.
Manilla's Tom Knight won the invitational saddlebronc event while Woolbrook's Gerard Oversby- the reigning ABCRA all round cowboy and bareback champion - took out the Dave Worsfold Invitational Hot 6 (bareback) with a score of 81 points.
The first event Xtreme Bulls Australia has been able to hold for 12 months, it won't be the last rodeo action at AELEC, with the ABCRA running the Tamworth Rodeo Roundup this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
