Crews quickly ran to the scene to help both drivers involved in the collision at the intersection of Church and Bourke streets near the Glen Innes Fire Station.
One of the drivers needed first-aid treatment from firefighters until New England Police District officers and NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived on the scene.

Police took the driver of the second vehicle back to the station for further questioning.
