The 15-year-old has been granted bail after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the abdomen in Manilla.
The stabbing occurred outside the town hall in Manilla Street - the main street in town - in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Police allege the younger teen stabbed the older boy during an altercation.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Friday following reports of an assault at the town hall at about 1am, and discovered the teen with the stab wound.
The 16-year-old boy was treated at the scene and initially take to Manilla hospital for assessment, before he was transferred to Tamworth hospital for specialist treatment.
The 16-year-old boy's condition was unknown on Saturday.
Oxley police set up a crime scene at the town hall, which was combed for clues.
About 7.30am, investigators moved and arrested a 15-year-old boy at a house in Manilla.
He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and questioned by officers before he was charged with one count of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 15-year-old was granted conditional bail and has been ordered to appear in Tamworth Children's Court later this month.
